Hello! I am Nanette. I grew up on a ranch in eastern Oregon. We had horses, cattle, milk cows, goats, a lamb (My special pet, who actually got on the school bus with me!), rabbits, turkeys, MANY cats, and of course our cattle dogs. Taking care of our animals was just part of a day's work. My love for animals set deep in my heart with the years that we spent living on the ranch.
When I got married though, I married someone who was allergic to animals! For years I went without a dog or cat. I tried getting a fish, a turtle, etc. But, nothing replaced the companionship I received from my household pets. I was introduced to a Bichon Frise as a hypo-allergenic dog, which for the most part, was a good choice that my husband c ould handle. We had our Caydie for ten years when someone stole her from our yard! This was devastating to me. She was a loyal canine and friend to our whole family. After months of grieving and searching for her, we were introduced to theYorkie or Yorkshire Terrier breed. It was a PERFECT match for my husband as he experienced NO allergies.
With his blessing, we began our Yorkshire adventure. We first got Rocky , who quickly became an added member of our household. We loved his small size but large heart. The idea came to us shortly after that we should breed, sharing with others this FINE Yorkie breed. With that, we set out to get our female. Years later, with expanding our Yorkie family, we find breeding a joy and a blessing. It just came naturally for a ranch girl with a deep love of animals! Our female Yorkies bare our Caydie's name in remembrance of her, realizing this all would not have come about without her. She was the beginning. YOU 2 CAN be Owned By Yorkies!! Today, our dogs are a large part of our everyday life and very much apart of our household, including any puppies born until they leave for their new homes. We have a diffiuclt time leaving them in kennels so you will find them often traveling with us...even on our vacations! Camping is a big favorite of ours....and the bike ride!
All our puppies are born & raised in our home as apposed to kennels, around and among our family of three kids and one cat. You can contact us at..
